A playful, stimulating full site redesign for an interactive science and tech museum, allowing The Tech’s web experience to match the one children and students have in person. This project began with a reorganization of The Tech’s site map, focusing on intuitive information architecture paired with a digital brand that more closely aligned with their overall branding. The resulting style guide set the tone for the rest of the site, which is full of colorful and functional components that invite users to explore.

I was also able to guide The Tech through rethinking the user experience of one of their most interactive tools: Ask A Geneticist. Besides being a comprehensive resource of scientific articles that needed to be searchable and filterable, this tool is also meant to take user input, letting students submit their own questions. The result is a functional and engaging library with a robust backend categorization database that allows users to seamlessly find what they’re interested in.
