American Retirement Association

MY ROLE
Design system
Prototypes

The American Retirement Association was an expansive project that required flexible and robust components that would be used across its six sister sites. We started with prototyping basic building blocks, then moved into more complex components. These prototypes show ARA the variety of options each component will give them, and allowed us to discuss functionality and layout before applying the branding of each sister site.

After we’d captured ARA’s desired functionality for individual components, we moved onto prototyping page templates, creating unique layouts for their organization’s needs, including articles, directories, search, and events, as well as general content pages for information and resources.

Along with a lot of information and resources to include in the navigation structure, I also designed a mechanism to connect each of the sister sites, allowing users to seamlessly navigate between them without compromising the focus on the branding of the current site.
